There are multiple reports that suggest the new Alto will get a lot more SUV like looks. The Future S that was showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo, is likely to be the concept car for the new Alto. But now we know that the car is the S-Presso. Maruti is working on it and it will be built on the Heartect platform. This will be an all-new SUV that will go up against the Kwid. The Alto meanwhile will be a much sleeker car.
The taillights have a revised look which gives it a fresh look. The new Maruti Alto 2020 will also have a larger wheel profile. The previous generation Alto always felt under tyred and that was done to increase the mileage. But as there is an increase in the weight of this car it will create a need for larger tires.
The Alto 800 now gets a revised front fascia with a new sleek grille and big Suzuki logo in between. The bumper too has been revised and it now gets a blacked-out mesh-pattern on the front bumper. It gets cute-looking small headlights. The side profile of the car has also been tweaked and it now gets body-coloured mirrors and door handles on the top-spec trim. The Alto 800 rides on 12-inch tyres and it gets a plain and simple rear design.
Maruti Alto 800 is a good family car with decent space on offer and it gets a good amount of features too. India's best-selling family car now even gets a big 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Like all other new Maruti cars, it also gets Suzuki s latest SmartPlay Studio Infotainment System which is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The safety features of the Alto 800 include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, high-speed alert system, reverse parking sensors, seat-belt reminders, etc.
